Ready

Type a competitor's handle. See which of their posts beat their own usual, and what the winners have in common.

This runs right now with nothing. The public channel feed carries views and likes for the fifteen most recent uploads, which is enough for a median, the winners and the hooks they share. A free YouTube Data API key raises it to a hundred uploads with comment counts and Shorts separated from long-form.

Returns their median engagement, every post that cleared 2x it, and the traits those winners share. Under 12 readable posts it reports the floor rather than a number, because a median from nine posts is not a median.

Why there is no impressions column

Impressions, reach, saves and profile visits are computed by the platform for the account owner and released only through that owner’s own access. No public endpoint returns them for somebody else’s account, so every competitor reach figure a tool has shown you was estimated.

What is public is engagement. The honest comparison built from it is the performance multiple: a post’s engagement divided by the median of that same account. Of the 10 networks we know about, 4 allow a competitor study at all.

What happens to a key you paste

It stays in your browser and in the one request that uses it. Nothing is written to a database. YouTube needs no key at all.
