SERP preview and title rewriter
Renders your real title and meta description at search width, and rewrites them if they do not fit.
What this is actually checking
Preview how a page appears in search results using its real title and meta description, with pixel-aware length checks and a rewritten version when it is too long or too short.
Search truncates by pixel width, not character count, so a count-based checker passes titles that get cut off. Capital letters and wide characters matter.
A title that under-earns its position is the cheapest win available in search, because nothing has to move in the rankings for it to pay.
The 6 checks behind it
- highMissing title tag
The title is the strongest on-page relevance signal and the search result headline.
- lowTitle is longer than the search snippet
Truncated titles hide the part that would have earned the click.
- lowTitle is very short
A short title leaves relevance and click-through on the table.
- mediumMissing meta description
Search engines will assemble a snippet themselves, usually less persuasively.
- lowMeta description is outside the snippet length
Too short wastes the space; too long gets cut mid-sentence.
- mediumDuplicate title tag
Identical titles make pages compete and give searchers no reason to pick one.
Google rewrote my title anyway. Does this still matter?
Google rewrites roughly a third of titles, usually when the title is stuffed, duplicated across the site, or does not match the page. A clear, specific, unique title is rewritten less often, so the work still pays.
